Alt-J have whipped up the music world in 2012 with their debut album “An Awesome Wave” (keyword indiehits: “Breezeblocks” & “Tessellate”). Not only critics and fan laurels alike, but also one of the greatest contemporary musical awards: the Mercury Prize. With album number two “This Is All Yours”, which in the fall of 2014 exceeded all expectations, the guys from Leeds, UK, have already manifested that they are exceptionally good, exceptionally creative and exceptionally independent musicians. The album made it to no effort on # 1 on the British charts and also in the rest of Europe and the world, it ranked long on the front seats. Their long-awaited new work “Relaxer” was released in June and with the first singles “3WW”, “In Cold Blood” and “Deadcrush” they could convince their fans again!
After their wonderful appearance at the Out Of The Woods in Wiesen with their brilliant audiovisual stage show, Alt-J will honor us again soon!
